Poop tells us so much!

What your toddler’s poop looks like can help you understand if their diet and hydration is adequate. Hard, ball-like stools can indicate constipation.
You can help your toddler by offering more fruits and vegetables (increasing fiber), making sure they drink 16 - 32 oz (2 - 4 cups) of water during the day (hydration), and encouraging age appropriate exercise (helps with motility).
Constipation is very common in the toddler years. Our providers can help you determine next steps if dietary changes are not helping. Call today to schedule an appointment.
