Dr. Simony is a Pediatrician who was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado.  He is a 1990 Graduate of Pueblo South High School.  He received his bachelor's degree at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins in 1994 and went on to receive his M.D. at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver.  While in Medical School he met his wife and soulmate, whom he married shortly before graduation in 1998.  They went on to residency at the University of Florida at Jacksonville, where he had the honor of being chosen as Chief Resident, and graduated in 2001.  During his residency in Florida, they had their eldest two sons before moving back to Pueblo in 2002.  Dr. Simony has practiced pediatrics in Pueblo for 18 years while expanding his family with a daughter and another son.

Steel City Pediatrics is the realization of a lifelong dream for Dr. Simony to practice pediatrics in his hometown and build something that is uniquely his own.  Dr. Simony envisions something more than just bricks and mortar, but a generational institution, a pillar of the community.  Dr. Simony envisions a team-based enterprise with team members who are just as passionate and dedicated to the mission and to serving Pueblo families as he is.  Dr. Simony is a lifelong Puebloan with roots that stretch four generations in Southern Colorado.   For Dr. Simony this is more than just a business or a professional venture, but a labor of love and the fulfillment of a dream to give back to his community, for the people and place that he calls home.  Dr. Simony and his wife have raised their four children in Pueblo; he strives to treat your children as if they were his own.
