Steel City Pediatrics proudly participates in a wide range of managed care plans and insurance options. Please refer to the list below for common carriers. If your plan is not listed, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm if we are an in-network provider, which can help you avoid unexpected out-of-pocket expenses.
Most insurance plans require a copayment at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. If you have any questions about your coverage, our billing specialists are happy to assist.
Please bring your current insurance card to every visit. A valid card is required for us to file a claim on your behalf. If we are able to bill your insurance, you will only be responsible for your copayment at the time of service. If we are not contracted with your insurance, if you are uninsured, or if we do not file with your plan, you may be responsible for the full cost of the visit at the time of service.
If you are enrolled in a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), please ensure that Steel City Pediatrics is listed as your designated primary care provider (PCP).
We currently accept most major insurance plans, including:
-
Aetna
-
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
-
Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+)
-
Cigna
-
Humana
